During my internship in Livingstone, Zambia, I worked with the Free Haven Community Initiative, a registered, Non- Governmental Organization with four main focuses: education, nutrition, health, and empowerment.  Their mission is to “ empower vulnerable families in Zambia to break the cycle of poverty, and promote gender equality, by providing them with education, nutrition, health services and empowerment programs.”
