During my photography internship in Livingstone, Zambia, I spent a substantial amount of time working with the Zambezi Working Donkey Project.  The Zambezi Working Donkey Project is a Non-Governmental Organization that provides free medical care to the communitie’s working donkeys.  The Zambezi Working Donkey Project has also developed a donkey-friendly yoke that doesn't cause physical pain and damage like the ox-yokes that are normally used on the donkeys in their community.  The yokes are handmade at the sanctuary and distributed to the community for free!
